- Catalog of AREL holdings
A computer runs a simple and easy to use database program which allows searching of the combined catalog, which includes:
- All of the library's 2,600 active and inactive serials
- Books and pamphlets added since August 1988 or checked out since 1995
- All UCD agricultural economics doctoral dissertations since 1970
- Giannini Foundation monographs, research reports, and information series since 1970.
- Card Catalog
The card catalog indexes materials added to the library before 1990.
- Harvest Library Catalog
Harvest is the UC Davis Library Catalog. It contains records for books, periodical and journal titles, musical scores, maps, government documents and other material owned by the UC Davis General Library.
- Melvyl
The University of California's union, computerized catalog of books and serials is called Melvyl. It shows the books and journals which have LC call numbers in the AREL and much of the collections at other UC campuses. AREL pamphlet file materials are not included.
- Databases for UC Davis Faculty, Staff and Students
This is a partial list of databases available to the campus community. It includes databases hosted by the California Digital Library as well as databases available through the library's CD-Rom server and other web based services.
